Fraud alert

WorkKar Global never charges a job seeker.

No registration fee. No security deposit. No training kit. No refundable deposit. Nothing for an interview, a shortlist, a verification, a laptop, a uniform or a joining letter. Not at any stage, not through any consultant, not through anybody acting in our name.

We are paid by the employer, and on most mandates only after someone joins. That is the whole business model, and it is why we have nothing to gain from a candidate's money.

Know the pattern

Six ways a job scam actually arrives

Every one of these has been run using the name of a real recruitment firm. Recognising the shape of it is most of the defence.

The fee that unlocks the job

An offer arrives, and then a charge: registration, file opening, security deposit, "seat blocking". You pay, and the next fee appears. There is no job at the end of the ladder.

An offer letter with no interview

A PDF on a letterhead copied off a real company, for a salary well above the band, sent to someone who never applied and never spoke to anyone. Real offers follow real interviews.

The lookalike address

A mail from workkar.hr@gmail.com, a domain like workkar-global.in, a WhatsApp profile picture with our logo on it. The name is right. The address is not ours.

The WhatsApp task job

"Rate these hotels, earn a few thousand a day." The first small payout is real, which is the hook. The top-up you are then asked to deposit is where the money goes.

The paid training kit

"You will be hired once you complete this certification from our partner." Our partner institutes never pay us and never collect for us. We do not gate a job behind a course.

The refundable deposit

Money for a uniform, a laptop, an ID card or a police check, "refunded with your first salary". The word refundable is doing all the work in that sentence, and none of it is true.

Stop at any one of these

You do not need all ten. One is enough to walk away, and none of them is ever a coincidence.

  • A request for money, at any stage, under any name.
  • An offer for a role you never applied to and never interviewed for.
  • Mail from a free mailbox, or from a domain that is nearly but not exactly ours.
  • Pressure on the clock: "the seat is held for two hours", "pay before 6pm today".
  • Anyone asking for an OTP, a UPI PIN, a CVV or a full card number.
  • A bank account in an individual's name instead of WorkKar Global LLP.
  • A demand for original certificates, or your Aadhaar and PAN before any interview.
  • An interview held only on chat, with no call, no video and no office.
  • A salary far above the band for that role in that city.
  • The word "refundable" attached to anything at all.

How to tell a real WorkKar call from a fake one

Our contact details are short enough to memorise, which is deliberate. If what you received does not match this list, it did not come from us.

See our office details

This is us

  • Email from an address ending in @workkarglobal.com, and nothing else.
  • A call or WhatsApp from +91 73873 63472 (Bhushan Bagul, Founder and MD) or +91 83083 06251 (Manjushri Akolkar, Business Development Manager).
  • One website, www.workkarglobal.com. We have no app, no Telegram channel and no second domain.
  • A named consultant who tells you the client, the role, the location and the band, and who can answer questions about all four.
  • A role that exists on this site with a job id you can look up under jobs.
  • An interview by phone, by video, or in person at our Indira Nagar office in Nashik.
  • Money moving in exactly one direction: from an employer to WorkKar Global LLP, against a GST invoice.

This is never us

  • Any request for money from a candidate, in any amount, for any reason.
  • A request for an OTP, a UPI PIN, a CVV, a card number or your net banking password.
  • A payment to a personal account, a QR code sent on chat, or a wallet transfer.
  • An offer letter before an interview, or a joining date before an offer.
  • A recruitment fee described as refundable, adjustable or "returned with your first salary".
  • An overseas job, a visa fee or a work-permit charge. We do not recruit for roles outside India.
  • A demand for your original certificates or your bank passbook to "hold" a position.

Still not sure? Call us and ask. Dial +91 73873 63472 and read out the name, the number or the email address you were contacted from. Nobody at WorkKar will mind the check, and it takes a minute. That minute is cheaper than anything else on this page.

WorkKar Global LLP does not currently recruit for jobs outside India, and does not sell overseas placement, visa or work-permit services. Any overseas offer made in our name is not ours.

On our side

What we do about it, and what we cannot do

A small firm can be honest about its limits. Here is where our reach ends and where the police begin.

We verify the employer

A company is checked against its registration and a domain email before a role goes live on this site.

We take it down

A posting reported as fake is pulled while we check it, not after. The account behind it is blocked.

We report it onward

Numbers, domains and accounts used in our name go to the platform they sit on and to the police where money has moved.

We help you file

We give you the evidence we hold, in writing, so your complaint is not just your word against a deleted chat.

What we cannot do

WorkKar Global cannot recover money you paid to a fraudster. Once it has left your account for somebody else's, only your bank and the police can chase it, and speed decides the outcome. If money has already moved, call the national cybercrime helpline on 1930 straight away and file at cybercrime.gov.in. Report it to us as well so we can get the number and the domain blocked, but make that call first.

Grievance redressal

A named officer, and a clock

Under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we have to publish who handles complaints and how long he has. Both are below.

Raise a grievance

What you can raise here

  • A data or privacy concern. Access to what we hold about you, a correction, an erasure, withdrawing consent, or taking your profile out of our database.
  • A job posting that looks fake or misleading: a company that does not exist, a salary that is not real, a role that turns out to be something else.
  • Someone demanding money in WorkKar's name, whether by call, email, WhatsApp or a page pretending to be ours.
  • A candidate experience complaint: no reply after an interview, wrong information about a role, or a consultant who behaved badly. We would rather hear it than not.
  • Misuse of a résumé we shared, including a profile forwarded to a candidate's current employer.
  • Content on this site that is unlawful, defamatory, infringes your rights or should not be public.
  • An invoice or a refund dispute, once the accounts desk in the refund policy has been tried.

You do not need a lawyer, a format or a stamp. A clear paragraph, a date and any screenshot you still have is enough to start.

How long we have

Working days are Monday to Saturday. Bank holidays in Maharashtra are not working days. Where a complaint needs information only you hold, the clock pauses from the day we ask you for it until the day it reaches us, and we say so in writing.

If we do not fix it

Escalation is not a favour, it is a right, and it goes further than us.

  1. Your consultant or the desk at info@workkarglobal.com, which is where most things are settled in a day.
  2. Manjushri Akolkar, Business Development Manager, +91 83083 06251, if the desk has gone quiet for more than 5 working days.
  3. The Grievance Officer, Bhushan Bagul, using the form on this page or the contact block above.
  4. The Grievance Appellate Committee set up under rule 3A of the IT Rules 2021, at gac.gov.in, within 30 days of our decision.
  5. The Data Protection Board of India, for anything about your personal data under the DPDP Act, 2023.
  6. The consumer forum with jurisdiction, or the National Consumer Helpline on 1915.
  7. The police, through cybercrime.gov.in or the helpline on 1930, where a crime has been committed.

None of these steps takes away your right to go straight to the police if money has moved. Do that first and tell us afterwards.

Report it

Tell the Grievance Officer what happened

One form for both jobs on this page: a grievance, or a fraud report. It reaches Bhushan Bagul directly. You will hear back within 24 to 48 hours, and sooner if money is involved.

We send the acknowledgement and the reference number here.

Optional, but it is the fastest way for us to find the record.

Keep the original messages and screenshots. We will ask for them by email rather than through this form.

This is a demonstration site and the form is not connected to a mailbox yet. For anything urgent, email info@workkarglobal.com or call +91 73873 63472.

After you press send

Four steps, and none of them is silence

A complaint that disappears into a form is worse than no form at all. This is what the fifteen days are actually spent on.

It lands with a person

The report goes to the Grievance Officer, not to a shared queue. You get an acknowledgement and a reference number within 24 to 48 hours.

We pull the record

The posting, the consultant's notes, the call log, the emails, the employer's verification file. We look at what we hold before we ask you for anything more.

We act, then tell you

A posting comes down, an account is blocked, data is corrected or deleted, a number is reported onward, or the thing that went wrong inside our own process is changed.

You get it in writing

The outcome, the reason, and where you can take it next if you disagree with us. Within 15 days of the day you first wrote.

Nothing on this page asks a job seeker for money, and nothing ever will. If a page that looks like this one does, it is not ours.

RECRUIT. CONNECT. EMPOWER.
