Workkar AI

AI reads every resume.
A recruiter still decides.

Our consultants work inside our own system. The software does the reading, the sorting and the first pass, so the shortlist that reaches you is shorter, better explained and quicker to arrive.

Nobody is rejected by software. Every profile we send has been opened, called and checked by a WorkKar recruiter in Nashik.

The process

Eight steps in a mandate. A person owns every one.

AI does the reading and the sorting. It never speaks to a candidate, never sends a rejection and never decides who you meet. Here is exactly where it sits.

See the full hiring process
  1. Recruiter

    Requirement call

We take the role, the salary band, the shift, the location and the joining date from you, on a call.

  2. AI drafts

    Job description

AI turns your notes into a first draft. A recruiter rewrites it and you approve it before it goes live.

  3. AI reads

    Sourcing and parsing

Every resume, in any format, is read into the same structured profile so nothing is missed in a scan.

  4. AI checks

    Duplicate check

The same person reaching us twice, from a job post and from a partner, is merged into one profile.

  5. AI ranks

    Matching and ranking

Each profile is scored against your role, with the reasons written out in plain words.

  6. Recruiter

    Screening calls

We call from the top of the list. Real experience, real notice period, real salary expectation.

  7. Recruiter

    Shortlist to you

Four to six profiles with our notes and the score reasons attached. Not a database dump.

  8. AI assists

    Interview and offer

Question suggestions for your panel and a salary benchmark, so the offer lands first time.

This is our internal system, not a product. There is nothing here to buy, subscribe to or install. You pay a recruitment fee only when someone joins. How our fees work.

Inside the system

Eight jobs we hand to the machine, and what we do with the output

Each one saves our desk hours of typing and reading. None of it replaces the call, the reference check or the judgement that decides who you meet.

Resume parsing and enrichment

A resume arrives as a PDF, a Word file, a WhatsApp forward or a photograph of a printed CV. The parser reads all of them into one structured profile, so a shortlist is never decided by whose formatting happened to be tidy.

Spelling slips, short forms and Indian date formats are normalised, so "Mar-19 to till date" and "03/2019 to present" become the same fact.

Duplicate and short-tenure flags

One person can reach us three ways on the same day. The system merges them, and it marks a run of short stays so a recruiter can ask about it on the call.

Flagged for a question, not for a rejection. Three of our best placements last year had a gap or a short stay behind them.

03 Every mandate

Matching and ranking, with the reason attached

The score is not a black box. It is five numbers added together, and the top of every list carries a written reason line that our recruiter repeats to you on the shortlist call.

  • Skills and tools 35

Weights change with the role. A night-shift plant role leans on commute, an IT role leans on the stack. We tell you the weights we used, on the shortlist call.

Never scored: name, gender, age, photograph, religion, caste, marital status or mother tongue, unless the language is a stated requirement of the job.

04 Candidate support

Skill gap analysis that leads somewhere

When a candidate is close but short on one skill, we do not just close the file. The system maps the gap against a target role and points to a partner institute that teaches it.

64%

Target role: Data Analyst

Excel ✓ SQL ✓ Power BI Python basics

Two institutes in Nashik teach exactly this. We send the candidate the list. The institute charges its own fee and WorkKar takes nothing from it.

Run the skill gap check

Free for candidates, always.

05 For your panel

Interview questions for the panel

Before your interview we send a short question sheet built from the job description and the profile in front of you, with a note on what a strong answer sounds like.

Suggested for: QA Chemist (Pharma), 3 to 5 years, Sinnar

Suggestions only. Your panel asks what it wants, and we never score an interview on your behalf.

06 Offer stage

Salary benchmarking that informs the offer

Before you make an offer we show what the role pays in that city, at that experience level, as a range. It is an estimate, and we label it as one. It has saved more than one offer from being refused.

CNC Setter cum Operator · 4 to 6 years · Nashik

  • Nashik₹3.0 to 3.8L
  • Pune₹3.4 to 4.4L

Sample ranges for layout. Live benchmarks are drawn from the roles we are actually working on, and are always shown as an estimate.

07 Before the post goes live

Drafting help for the job description

Most requirements arrive as one line on a phone call. AI turns that line into a first draft with the shift, the band and the real skills spelled out. A recruiter edits it, and you approve it before anything is published.

What we heard on the call

"Need 2 CNC operators for Satpur, immediate joining, salary as per market."

Nothing about the shift, the controller, the band or the commute. Candidates cannot self select from this.

First draft, ready to edit

CNC Setter cum Operator (VMC), Satpur MIDC, Nashik

  • Shift and commute stated, so applicants self select
  • Salary band published, which is our rule on every post
  • Skills written the way a shop floor writes them

No job goes live on WorkKar without a salary band and a named hiring company, or the words "confidential client" and a recruiter behind it.

08 Candidate contact

Drafting help for candidate outreach

Interview calls, document requests and joining reminders are drafted, then read and sent by the recruiter handling that candidate. No automated sequence ever runs by itself.

Sneha is a placeholder name for this layout. A real recruiter's name and number is on every message we send.

Time to shortlist

The same mandate, before and after the first pass

One role in Satpur, about 140 applicants. The work does not disappear, it moves. Our recruiter spends the saved hours on the phone instead of in a folder of PDFs.

Written as an illustration. We commit to a shortlist date on the requirement call and put it in writing.

The line we do not cross

The first pass is AI.
The decision is human.

Software is very good at reading 140 documents without getting tired. It is very bad at knowing that a candidate stayed eight months because a plant shut down. That is why the two jobs are kept apart.

What the software does

  • Reads every resume into the same structured profile
  • Merges duplicates and flags patterns worth a question
  • Scores each profile against the brief and shows its working
  • Drafts the job description and the first message
  • Suggests interview questions and a salary range
  • Keeps the audit trail of who saw which profile, and when

What the recruiter does

  • Takes the brief and asks what the job is really like
  • Calls the candidate and hears the story behind the dates
  • Overrules the score whenever the score is wrong
  • Chooses the four to six profiles you actually see
  • Sends every message, and signs it with a name and a number
  • Stays with the candidate until the joining date is done

Five things AI never does here

  • Reject a candidate
  • Send a message on its own
  • Score a live interview
  • Decide a salary
  • Rank anyone on name, gender, age or community

If a score looks wrong to you, say so on the shortlist call. We will open the profile, read the reasons out and change the list. A number is a starting point for a conversation, not a verdict.

Responsible AI

Rules we wrote down before we switched it on

These are not aspirations. They are the working rules our own consultants follow, and you are welcome to hold us to them on any mandate.

We do not display ISO or SOC 2 badges, because those certifications are not in place yet. When they are, they will appear here with the certificate number.

No automated rejection

A low score moves a profile down the list. It does not close the file, and it never triggers a rejection message.

Human review of every shortlist

A recruiter opens each profile that reaches you, and has spoken to the person on the phone before you see the name.

Bias checks on what we score

Name, gender, age, photograph, religion, caste, marital status and mother tongue are excluded from the score. We review the shortlist mix on bulk mandates and record what we find.

Explainable by default

Every score opens into the five numbers behind it. If we cannot explain a ranking in one sentence, we do not send it.

Consent before we share a profile

A candidate is told which company their profile is going to, and agrees to it, before we send it. AI drafts are labelled as drafts inside our system.

Data stays in India

Candidate data is stored on servers in India, with role based access, audit logs and daily encrypted backups. It is not used to train a public model.

Your mandate stays yours. A requirement, a job description and the profiles we handle for you are used for your search. They are not sold, not shared with another client and not fed into anyone else's model. Read the privacy policy or write to info@workkarglobal.com.

For job seekers

What the AI does for you, free

You are not the product here. The same system that helps our recruiters find people also helps you be found, and it costs you nothing at any stage.

Your resume is read properly

A plain Word file typed at a cyber cafe is parsed the same way as a designed PDF. Your skills reach the shortlist either way.

You are matched to more roles

Apply once and your profile is considered for every open mandate you fit, not only the advertisement you clicked.

You are told what is missing

If one skill is short, we say which one and which institute near you teaches it, instead of leaving you guessing.

Free resume check

See what our parser picks up from your resume

Paste a few lines, pick the kind of work you want, and we will show you what a recruiting system reads and what it cannot find.

This runs in your browser. Nothing you paste is uploaded, stored or sent anywhere. It uses simple rules, so treat it as a preview of the parser, not as a screening decision.

WorkKar never charges job seekers. No registration fee, no deposit, no training kit. Read the fraud alert.

Six or seven lines is enough. Leave out anything you would rather not type.
